Time Festival 2016

Last weekend, I continued my festival-filled summer at TIME Festival.

This festival is interesting in that it draws from a wide variety of genres (indie rock, rap, electronic, edm, pop etc) and despite the stellar headline, is incredibly affordable - Tier 1 tickets were only $25.

Here are some of my favourite captures from the day. The full gallery can be seen at We Got This Covered.

British indie rockers Everything Everything made their Canadian debut at TIME Festival. I was so sad that I missed their set during SXSW, so it was a treat finally witnessing their performance

Cold Cave

Joey Bada$$

Kehlani donned a pair of Doc Martens heels. Yes, I'm biased toward her already.

Broods

Bob Moses is another band who I've crossed paths with multiple times (Jukely NYE party, SXSW) but whose performance I always unfortunately miss. I was only able to catch the beginning of their set before running off to photograph the evening's headliner, but it was definitely a sonic treat.

Run the Jewels were the evening's headliners. Though I don't consider myself any kind of rap aficionado, the duo bring energy and humour to their set. A great way to close the evening!
