With the prevalence of torrenting, streaming, and other techie means of getting what we want, when we want it, it fascinating to see how radio is still very much alive and well.
Radio stations like 102.1 The Edge have done good work at promoting Canadian talent. The CASBY Awards (which is probably one of my favourite acronyms ever: Canadian Artists Selected By You), celebrates Canadian independent and alternative music.
