Nick Murphy (fka Chet Faker) @ Danforth Music Hall

A few months ago, the artist known as "Chet Faker" decided to reclaim his name. And thus, he now goes by "Nick Murphy".

Montreal songstress, Charlotte Cardin, opened up the evening at the Danforth Music Hall. I first heard Charlotte on last year's Field Trip and Osheaga rosters, and thoroughly enjoyed her jazzy voice. She's since made remarkable strides, and as of this writing, is scheduled for a two night residency headlining the Danforth early next year. You go girl!
